Martin joined Tracab in 2007 as an algorithm developer when the company started to build up its own Computer Vision team. He also has experience in algorithm development from other Swedish vision-based companies like Tobii and Axis Communication. He has an MSc in Engineering Physics from Lund Institute of Technology and worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company before turning back to technology. Martin has been instrumental in Tracab’s growth, through key roles as Head of Computer Vision and, most recently, as Director of Research and Development.
Oskar has more than 20 years experience in the Sports and Broadcast business. After graduating with an MSc in Computer Science at the Stockholm University, Oskar spent 13 years at HEGO and held various operational and managerial roles, overseeing many high profile sports and broadcast projects across the world. He moved into a commercial role as the Managing Director of ChyronHego Sweden and SVP Sales EMEA. and is now responsible for the strategic commercial growth of TRACAB.
Gareth has extensive experience in computer vision and machine learning in both academia and industry. He joined TRACAB in 2010 as a senior scientist and played a key role in the design of the current tracking system. He has a PhD in Computer Vision from the Australian National University and worked as post doctoral researcher at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He was also a partner and product manager at a computer vision start-up and has consulted for both academia and industry in areas of computer vision and machine learning.
Mattias has over 23 years of experience in the world of software and system development. Starting his career as a consultant helping organizations build and enhance their management systems, Mattias joined TRACAB in 2010 as a Senior Systems Developer, then Senior Technical Project Manager and since 2020 he has been the Head of Sports Ecosystem. His core function as the Head of Sports Ecosystem is to provide our partners with both raw and calculated data from the TRACAB Sports Ecosystem in the most efficient and accurate way possible.
Eric is an experienced computer vision scientist with an extensive track record in sports technology and broadcast media, having previously spent several years in academia. Having grown up in the UK and Norway, Eric graduated with a PhD from the Robotics Research Group at the University of Oxford in 2000. His thesis concerned object tracking, 3D reconstruction and camera calibration. After completing his thesis he moved to Stockholm, Sweden to work as a postdoctoral research scientist at the Royal Institute of Technology.
