Apr 07 2022

2021 was busy, with the improvement of the popular Formation Tool (allowing coaches to digitally replicate the traditional tactics board, on-screen) and a large investment in AI powered features including Automatic Player Tracking.

Already in 2022 we released Coach Paint 9.2, which saw further AI powered tools including Automatic Pitch Calibration and the ability to measure player’s speed and distance. All of these features aim to improve time and workflows for coaches and analysts, but also (with our friends at Chyron), provides our customers with broadcast quality graphics and telestration.

And we’re not done for 2022 yet. This month, we are releasing Coach Paint 9.3, with significant upgrades to our existing tools plus new features for sports outside our heartland of soccer (American Football coaches, take note).

Coach Paint 10 will land in the summer and we’re really excited about it. It will be a big upgrade that will include Live Presentation features, Pitch Zone tools and further ways that Coach Paint can be customized to suit your needs. Before the year is out, we’ll be adding more features that take sports video analysis to the next level, once again.

Did you know that there is a Coach Paint plan to suit sports clubs of all sizes?

For small organizations, with big ambitions. The Basic plan includes all the tools required for professional telestration and video analysis. It is perfect for smaller teams and budgets. Ideal for lower league clubs, colleges and universities.

The Advanced plan includes professional features including 3D visualizations and automation tools. It is one of most popular plans with professional clubs and teams across the world.

As used by top tier clubs and national teams, our Elite plan features AI powered automation tools to take video analysis and telestration to a championship-winning level.

We are all really excited about all the things to come over the next year, with an unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Coach Paint will continue to lead the way in sports video analysis and telestration.
