MELVILLE, N.Y., and STOCKHOLM — Feb. 23, 2022 — TRACAB today announced the release of Coach Paint 9.2, a major enhancement of the company’s popular sports-agnostic telestration software. Continuing the company’s commitment to giving precious time back to users, this release increases workflow efficiency and enriches the tools available for analysis.
Following on the successful introduction of fully Automatic Player Tracking in Coach Paint 9.1, this new release adds another artificial intelligence (AI)-driven feature: Automatic Pitch Calibration. Completing a key automation workflow for elite Coach Paint users, Automatic Pitch Calibration allows for even faster, simpler use of the software’s professional tools and, in turn, frees up valuable time for other essential work.
Coach Paint 9.2 also features TRACAB’s brand-new Measurement Visualizations, a tool that makes it possible to visualize the speed and distance a player covers on the pitch. With this new capability, sports science practitioners now can use telestration to enrich the feedback they give their players and to increase buy-in.
Last but not least, Version 9.2 allows clips created with the software’s unique Formation Tool to be exported just like any other standard video. As a result, Coach Paint users can now create and present any tactical situation, including set pieces, by digitizing and enriching the overall experience.
“By solving users’ core issues, Coach Paint 9.2 opens up exciting opportunities for them to excel at their work without spending nights and weekends on daunting, time-consuming tasks,” said Simone Lacava, product manager at TRACAB. “With this new release of Coach Paint, we’re providing a fully automated workflow and introducing additional top-end broadcast graphics. We are listening to our customers and working to ensure that Coach Paint remains the best telestration product on the market.”
