MELVILLE, N.Y.  — May 20, 2021 — Tracab today announced the release of Coach Paint 8.3, the latest version of the company’s popular sports-agnostic sports analysis and coaching software. Version 8.3 brings Coach Paint enhanced presentation and formatting features that save coaching staff time while preserving ease of use.

“Coach Paint 8.3 improves on the features and capabilities its users already appreciate,” said Craig Inness, Tracab sales director for EMEA. “Coaches can repurpose and reuse clips for different scenarios, educating players with state-of-the-art visualization tools in real-time. This unlocks the potential for analysts to give tactical presentations in the dressing room and make live edits to the video to provide pertinent formation analysis to players.”

While the software is favored by some of the world’s most elite football clubs and coaches, Coach Paint is flexible enough to fit into any workflow or operating system. Coach Paint is designed to give clubs, teams, and coaches the ability to visualize players and formations to improve team performance and positional awareness. Out of the box, version 8.3 comes complete with a multi-feature tool set including player cut-out, spotlight, zoom, player tracking, zone tracking, and other essential capabilities.

The latest version of Coach Paint introduces an improved 3D Formation Tool that allows coaches and analysts to visualize, animate, and save moments entirely in Coach Paint. As the most widely used video analysis tool in professional sports, this improved Formation Tool allows for greater flexibility in how coaching staff provide more detailed insights to players.

With Coach Paint’s new XML Upload, coaches can reduce an already short process to just a few clicks. Coaches can now utilize XML to import, clip, trim, label, and sort video content with a simple export to Coach Paint. This simplified process makes adding clips more convenient, allowing analysts to make the most of their time with the team. As always, Coach Paint is completely agnostic, working with a team or club’s favorite providers and data points to provide a lightning-fast turnaround time.

“Our goal is to give time back to analysts and coaches,” added Inness. “The enhanced features introduced in Coach Paint 8.3 accelerate the workflows already used by coaching staff so that they can turn more of their time and attention to working with players. By collaborating closely with teams of all sizes and from all sports, we’ll continue to make Coach Paint the best tool for all coaches.”
